Lovely labels baby bib card

This card is so easy to make.
Start with sizzix big  circle scallop  die. fold the card stock (SU Pink Pirouette) in half and lay on die. The folded part of the cardstock  layed not quite to  the top of the circle, run  it through the Big shot. By not putting the cardstock at the top of the die, it allowed the two circles to remain joined at one end. I then used a 1 3/8 circle punch and punched out 1/2 circle along the folded end. Next run top of card through the big shot using the dot embossing folder (cuttlebug).
Baby was stamped on whisper white with Rose red ink. Punched out with 1 1/4 circle punch. Layer on a whisper white punched scallop circle. glue on with a dimensional. rose red ribbon is used for the bib tie. The Stamp set is lovely labels and is retiring.....it is available for one more day.

Let me know if you have any questions or want this retiring stamp set. Remember to check back on July 1st for blog tour featuring samples made with new stamp sets from our new Stampin Up! Catalog.
Have a great evening.

Hostess gift and Thank You's

I can't believe its been so long since I posted!!! This month has flown by. Only a few more days until Stampin' Up!'s new Idea book and catalog begins.

This month, I have been using my designer paper and stamps that will be retiring.
Below are 2 projects I did in my workshops this month. The first is a box and cards that I made with 1 sheet of 12x12 Designer series paper. I found the idea on Chic n scratch blog.(Angie Juda's)
Designer series paper: Sweet Always
Stamp set: Lovely Labels
Punch/sizzix die~ 11/4 circle die, scallop die, scallop from the Pendant big die.

These gum drop candy bags were so easy to make using The goody goody gum drops hostess set. I also used The Thank you from THank you kindly set (not retiring).

The bag topper is Top note die. I ran it through the Big shot and then just folded in half....easy peasey!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific week. Do you have a copy of the new catalog reserved?? If not drop me an email and I will get it out to you right away. Ask me how to get a free copy.

College Graduation Congtatulation

My foldest son is graduating this weekend from college and I am so proud of him. Here is the card I made for him

card made using all SU products
Stamp set: Say it with scallops
Designer paper: Parisian breeze
scalloped chipboard, chocolate chip craft ink pad, dazzling diamonds heat embossed over congrats!, star punch and c. chip brads

I also covered a chocolate bar with Designer paper and embossed star from In the stars

I also have been working on a scrapbook for him. Here are 2 pages I completed today. I had started this page before I became a SU demonstrator over 3 years ago. Well I had exactly what I needed to finish the pages with SU products. The bear is from under the stars and used orange zigzag ribbon from ribbon originals and journaled with SU marker:

Isn't that bear so darn cute??

Well I will be gone for the weekend and will post again next week. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

KWERNER COLOR CHALLENGE #51

I am making some thank you notes to use over the next month and I used this week's color challenge to help inspire me.

I started with the whisper white note cards that SU sells.

Stamp set is fifth avenue floral which is one of my favorite stamp sets. I used the masking technique to stamp the flowers across with rose red ink.
scalloped the bottom of the card with SU eyelet border punch and layered a piece of more mustard card stock behind
I then ran a piece of rose red card stock through my big shot using SU simple flower embosslit die. This die is exclusive to SU. I then layered it with a flower from our pretties kit and a chocolate chip brad through the middle. The Thank you stamp is from short and sweet SU stamp set.

Here is a close up of the flower

Thanks for stopping by and if you are interested in playing along you can find the instuctions HERE
